Happy Friday! One of the emails I got in response to last week’s teaser of “Hope, Curiosity, Courage” was to not underestimate the financial benefits to individuals and why they join pharmaceutical companies. 🧐. #TrueDat
Another refreshing tidbit that I picked out was from a subscriber that did a lot of research on their next career move and found that:
“..impression was that pharma was the place where it was better understood that digital health was not about pushing fancy technology to the market but achieving better clinical outcomes for patients and improve the way care is delivered”
…but now onto this week’s teaser of a chapter which will be called “(Not so) Spicy Soup”
As you may have already noticed in my post on Swiss cheese, I am a big fan of food. While I love cheese, I also love a good spicy soup like Kharcho.. When it comes to real digital transformation of pharmaceutical industry, pharma companies have been bringing in some spicy peppers and throwing them into a huge pot of soup. However the size of the pot is sooooooo huge that the soup turns out completely bland and there is near zero impact to the taste. No change.
A good Kharcho, as many of Georgian friends will tell you, requires a perfect amount of spice but that “perfect” amount depends on the individual’s tastebuds.. If you are confused by my analogy let me know. If you get it also let me know, but with more specifics of great examples of transformers or transformations that i can talk to.
PS. I am not a Georgian chef but I don’t think spicy peppers go into Kharcho 🌶
Till Next Week,
